The Role
Nats Go an extra mile to enhance your placement experience. They exceeded my expectations beyond imagination.
Relevant training was given at the beginning of the placement allowing me to add significant value to my team. As a result I felt valued by my team. Nats also has buddy schemes and other arrangements to help you settle and add value to your team.
Management is Nats are very accessible and responsive, and so guidance and support is abundant. I received all the support I required from management. Having lunch or pehaps a game of football with management of any level is commonplace in Nats.
Apart from getting the opportunity to travel while on placement attending training days just to mention a few the placement had a rich balance of diverse tasks to give you an enhanced daily routine. What impressed me the most was that I was not only restricted to engineering roles and so I managed to participate in areas like PR, marketing and recruitment.
Nats management will not put a cap to you potential, but will train and support you in achieving the goals they have set for you as well as those you have formulated. While on placement I worked on projects and performed tasks and roles hard to imagine for a placement student. As a result I not only achieved all my objectives but reached mu full potential.
I received a skill-set that compares to none. Nats offers generations worth of good engineering expertise and practice that is hard to come across anywhere else. I was overwhelmed by how much I learnt in such a short space of time. The skills I have developed as well as the training I have received will help me complete my final year project as well as form a good basis for seeking further employment.
