    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really is the best job ever. Very challenging but the team I worked with were so helpful and supportive. You are given real responsibilities and you were allowed to take ownership of the projects.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very!! You really are part of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had weekly catch ups where you could talk through with your line manager the projects you are completing. They then helped you to face the challenges and complete the project successfully.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The recruitment of the new interns was a very busy time. I was given a lot of responsibilities and could help in projects if I wanted to.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I wasn't running the show! But I was given a lot and the support was there if you need it. You really do have the responsibility from day one as well.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I learnt really don't help my course as I don't have an HR module at uni but they definitely do assist me for my future career!

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Obviously there were days when people were busy but every member of the team was extremely positive and interested in everyone.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My role was a dual role so I had to balance the responsibilities from both Recruitment and Generalist HR. The structure of my placement had its challenges but that was all part of the fun.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
