    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I got to sit with a senior associate and to attend to many presentations about the firm, so this was an excellent insight to the firm.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt valued and integrated, by some people more than others.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received all the guidance I needed. I felt there was always someone in the firm who could help me and answer my questions.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I did tasks a trainee solicitor would do. As I am studying law and want to become a solicitor, all I did will assist me in my degree and above all beyond, when I'll be working in a law firm.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was very structured. Every day was basically divided in two parts : one part of presentations and workshops, and one part of completing tasks for our department.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was really good, both with the other interns and with the team I have been working for.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company offered me excellent training during the first week. From the middle of the second week, I did not have as much work as I used to have.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It really helped me to understand what it would be like to be solicitor, but I would have loved to sit in two different departments, as I thought I would. I would have been able to find out to what extent the work of a solicitor changes between two different departments.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • It was extremely helpful.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was very helpful but could have been more if I has sit in two different departments.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was paid and offered many lunches.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • We had two socials, where we could network with other trainees and the graduate recruiters. We had many presentations where we could network with associates and partners.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Great.
