    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Extremely enjoyable as I was given all the resources and freedom I needed to develop alll thhe skills I beleive I will need in my future carrer.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Even thought I was struggling in the beginning, once I got into my job I got along very well with my whole team and it didn't feel as if I was 'just an intern' at all.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • There were times when my managers were either too busy or just no available or we just didn't get along very well (especially in the very beginning) so getting help was a bit difficult but this has only happened a couple of times so overall I've received all the help/support I needed.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were time when I had nothing to so it did get broing but then again other times it was extremely busy. So a bit of both and of course, this is how a person learns to balance it out.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In the beginning not a lot, but once I've earned my managers trust adn proved I can do my work to an excellent level, I was given the responsibility to cover some of their work. Often, I was the main contact when they were away.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe I have improved the skills I already had as well as I 've developed new skills. However, there is always room for improvement.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was very much fun, apart from extremely busy time when we just didn't really have that much time for general chats and joking around.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Apart from confusion coming from HR and LD at tmes, it was generally very well organised.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was offered all training courses as any other permenent employee so the company looks afater its employees to an excellent level, I personally didn't feel the need to take on any of the courses as they weren't that relevant to what I was doing.

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    Working from home

    Healthcare from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • One of my team memebers was an intern a couple of years back so it is not impossible. However, the company doesn't have a graduate scheme.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • As in any other company where there are more than 10 interns, coming from different backgrounds, universitis, ineterests, I didn't get along with all of the 40 or so interns in WB but we the ones I did, I had a lot of fun.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Central Londond...so unfortunatelly extremely expensive :(

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Again Central London so excellent :)

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not only activities we organised ourselves but also such with the company - volunteering, sports activities, different events, etc.

    5/5
