    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my placement at WB. It was a fantastic and worthwhile experience.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was made to feel very welcome by everyone and felt very happy/comfortable working here.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given all the support and guidance I needed and I always felt confident I could turn to another member of the team if I needed any assistance.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Workload can vary greatly depending on the time of year. The run up to Christmas can be an extremely busy period whereas the summer time can be a little quieter. However there is always something to be getting on with so there were never any times where I was bored with nothing to do.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Overall I felt I was given a lot of responsibility during the year. As I got longer into my placement, the levels of responsibility I was given kept increasing and I was given more and more complex tasks to complete.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think completing this placement will be of great assistance to me in my future working career

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • 4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • There is a great intern set up here at WB. Throughout the year there are several 'intern training days' that are designed to enhance key working skills that I found extremely helpful.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt the firm invested a lot into myself and all the other interns. I was able to take an Excel training course in my first month of the job which was particularly helpful, as well as the intern training days that I mentioned above.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Sports and Social Club

    International Travel

    Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • At the moment, WB doesn't have a graduate scheme however, if the right entry level job opens up WB have a good record of rehiring previous interns so you never know what the future holds!

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were over 40 other interns at WB this year and I everyone in my department got along great so there was a big group to socialise with.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Unfortunately there is no getting away from the fact London is an expensive place to live/socialise.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Being based in London, the nightlife was fantastic.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are many opportunities to get involved with activities outside of work, for example, the WB football team. It just depends on what you want to do.

    3/5
