Role Description

I was responsible fo the financial structure of contracts for IT outsourcing clients. I analysed contracts to ensure price reflects services offered for customer, and financial risks within the contract such as forex fluctuations had been mitigated. I was also responsible for accounting methods used in Financials. For example I had to ensure the hardware/software on a deal was depreciated using IBM methods. Also responsible for checking the Credit worthiness of clients, and minimising the risk of IBM losing money on 3rd party contracts by checking clauses to ensure IBM could cancel 3rd party contracts if a customer collapsed or opted out of a deal.
