  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Had an awesome time! Wouldn't have imagined to spend my placement year travelling to one of the most amazing places!

    • As soon as I arrived I was given a great welcome by the staff members and volunteers! As we lived with each other-I got to know many people

    • On-going support is always at disposal either by the Director, Comms exec or the volunteer co-ordinators.

    • I would be doing something different every day throughout the week! But at times plans do not workout as it is Africa! So patience is the key...

    • I spent a lot of time with the Communications executive learning a great deal about Online Marketing-an area I've never thought about getting into. I also had the chance to spend time with volunteers who come from different business backgrounds-just to get an idea of what I can do potentially in the future

    • Things were pretty cheap in the local area! But if you need some of the western delicacy you would need to order it from a neighboring city! A night-out would cost the same as a pint the local!
