The Role
Couldn't fault it one bit. Everything about the place, the work, the people was spot on.
They made me feel wanted and have become friends with many of them outside of work.
I had weekly catch ups with my supervisor and if I had any questions they would always help me out.
There were some days when it was hectic and others when it was quite, but generally it was the perfect balance.
Given not just responsibility but also accountability for tasks/projects.
I've learnt more than I could ever imagine working at NATS - skills I don't think I would have learnt at uni such as the soft skills.
The Company
I was based in the College which isn't your typical office scene. It always had a buzz about the place and lots of banter between the students and staff.
I've gone half way on this one simply because there wasn't really a structure to my placement compared to other placement students. I wouldn't really consider my role to be a placement at all - it's more like a proper job (some staff didn't realise I was a placement student until 9 months in!).
Given the opportunity to attend internal training courses such as presentation skills, finance and project management.

If you do a good job there's always a chance you'll come back.
The Culture
Really good.
I wouldn't complain. Seemed fairly standard to me.
Southampton and Portsmouth are both cracking nights out.
Always opportunities to get involved with volunteering and the many sports and social clubs. If you play football you'll have to join CTC FC, NATS' football team who play in the midweek Southampton league.
