The Role
There were numerous pros cons to this placement.
One of the most valuable elements of the year. My team were very welcoming and helpful and I was never treated like 'just a student'.
I was given support on occasion - very much operated on a macro-management basis. This was a general positive point, however I can see how it would put other students off.
It varied day to day. Some days I could be working solid, others I could be chasing up something to do.
I was given responsibility, but for very limited/small projects.
The project management skills I have developed will benefit me in my studies. The technical elements, not so much.
The Company
As mentioned - team was very good.
Could have been better in certain areas. Roles weren't always clear for example.
I was given the opportunity to complete professional training - obtaining certifications as a result.

Possible to get on UFLP following IP. Moreover, permanent roles aren't out of the question.
The Culture
Only student on site!
Chester is okay rent wise. Going out can be as bad as London!
Chester has countless bars..
Very limited in my experience.
