  • Very interested and enjoyable work!

  • I wasn't treated like a placement student, but as an actual employee and had good input in meetings, etc.

  • Managers always more than happy to help out and regular performance reviews to ensure everything is going well.

  • Kept busy most of the time and never a lack of work to be getting on with.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was friendly and there was rarely a dull moment.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement was split between 2 departments with 6 month in each. The 2nd department was a lot more organised than the first. The scheme as a whole was very well organised with regular training and out of office events, as well as regular reviews and social events.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As an IET accredited scheme, there was a big push on personal development. The company invested a lot in us through training, mentoring and 1-to-1 performance reviews.

  • Dependent on location. There are lot of places to live nearby.

  • Good in Southampton or Portsmouth, nothing to do in Whiteley.
