    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • This company really cares about their workers, and I think this is one of the most important factors why I would choose them. Everyone's really supportive, they want you to enjoy your job. Moreover, Schlumberger provide lots of training and if you want - you can travel a lot (this is my favorite bit!). If it turns out you're not really enjoying what you're doing now you can always move to a different sector! This makes the job really interesting.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • After Women Insight in Technology programme we all became like friends! We were having dinner together, sharing experiences and getting advice from others. Everyone's really nice there!

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Schlumberger really wanted us to understand what they're doing and how they're doing it. That's the most important. We were getting some presentations, we had a chance to ask lots of questions. Also we were introduced to some specific sectors (myself - manufacturing engineering) and see what is done there. In the end we were divided in groups of 4 and had a task - to find out what happened when a drilling tool broke (and this was a real event!). Were given a time limit and lots of information.
