  1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  2. It's an amazing place to work. Everyone is very friendly and there are constantly things going on around the office outside of your daily role that you can get involved in.


  3. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  4. I've really enjoyed getting to know my team and other people around the business and have definitely made some great friends.


  5. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  6. I definitely felt supported and guided - I received regular feedback on my performance and I know if I had any issues there were people I could speak to.


  7. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  8. There were definitely peaks and troughs in how busy we were but I never had nothing to do.


  9. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  10. The level of responsibility was huge - this is definitely the top selling factor of the scheme for me as I was genuinely doing the same work as any of the other members of my team which is great.


  11. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  12. Having a years work experience anywhere will obviously make you much more employable but I think this scheme has taught me so much - mostly what kind of job I would be looking for in the future.


  13. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  14. The general atmosphere is great - there's a real buzz and you can tell people love their jobs. We have had town halls with ice cream, popcorn, previews of our adverts, free runners in the office etc.


  15. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  16. Overall it was organised very well however it is a relatively new scheme and so there are still some elements which could be improved. We have had meetings with the placement team and fed all of our thoughts back so the scheme is definitely improving all the time.


  17. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  18. We had an insights workshop and carried out a 360 review along with many presentations about other departments. There could have been more formal training, however most of our training was on the job.

  21. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  22. I would love to come back and work for the company.


  23. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  24. Yes - especially amongst the placements as we lived together and so would regularly go out and socialise. My team were also very good at organising team nights out bowling, to laser quest etc.


  25. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  26. Rent in Luton is relatively cheap and the cost of socialising is low. However, we spent most of our time in other nearby towns, where prices are slightly higher but still not London levels.


  27. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  28. The nightlife in Luton is quite limited, however London is a short journey away.


  29. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  30. Yes - as I mentioned earlier we went on many team nights out bowling, to laser quest, dinners, lunches etc. There is a summer and Christmas party and lots of welcome/leaving/birthday parties throughout the year.
