The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the placement. The best things being the people and opportunities to learn and develop.
Felt very valued by the team I was working within, knowing the work I was doing was making a difference.
Given the relevant support when needed, and given feedback towards the end of the year on how I was doing.
Was very busy a lot of time, but managable.
In my role I felt I was given a lot of important jobs, sending reports to high level management and managing a third party company.
My role wasn't specifically in the area my degree is in, however I felt working in a large global company has given me the experience I need in the future. My excel skills are also now at an advanced level.
The Company
Very relaxed and everyone seemed to be enthusiastic with their work
My role had been set up for several years now so knew my key responsibilities early on and also picked up other work
Good training at first. A lot of my skills I developed were from my own experiences with work
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Would love to come back although graduate roles in my department are fairly limited
The Culture
Over 50 interns so was very enjoyable
Average
Reading was okay, although the interns made it
An intern committee organising loads of social and charity events
