  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I've enjoyed my placement at GE, primarily due to the amount of experience and exposure that Ive gained.

  • Valued by team. Commended many times. I gave and received advice on many occasions.

  • Management is great. My manager who is the Head of an area within IT, often found time for dealing with queries, advice about work/projects and would often consult on issues on projects.

  • Quite busy, as I've been working on multiple projects in a short time.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given responsibility and ownership on a few areas and projects, which helped me to dive deep into business processes and the 'correct' way of executing tasks.

  • It will help alot.

  • Very, very relaxed. Quality is prioritized.

  • From day one, It was very organised and well planned.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I mostly had on the job training, due to learning most of the time when I started. During my first few weeks, I got to shadow a few team members (including manager) to get an insight of what they each did.
