The Role
It is not the job I would like to in the future, but I haven't found it hard to do as I enjoy it and the people.
We all have a great relationship.
My manager and supervisors have been really supportive and are always helping me and there to guide.
I am sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of work and responsibility I am given. However I just see it as a positive thing and something that will help me in the future with work and time management.
I have been given responsibility of 2 entire departments for my area.
I have learnt amazing skills that will stay with me forever and have helped me develop into a better candidate for work.
The Company
Everyone is always busy and stressed as we are understaffed but on days out of the office and the odd moments everyone would have a laugh and joke
It doesn't really seem like a work placement but more like a real job, I know if I wasn't here my department would struggle.
Colleagues offered 121 sessions to help upskill me, and out of office training and trips was paid for to help train me.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Havn't yet been offered a job but that decision will be made over the next month or two
The Culture
I would say this was organised by ourselves rather than the company though.
Cost wasn't too bad, close to london on the train, and a few nice towns to live in around the area.
The nightlife where I worked was not good, 1 or 2 pubs in the town where it's based but it's not too far from london and a few other good towns with good nightlife
Not really for the placement students
