    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • In terms of the people and the company, the placement was fantastic. In terms of the actual work and the department I was in I didn't always enjoy the work I was doing but the majority of it was OK

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • You could not ask for a better company to work for in terms of the people and the way the company is run. Felt like a large family and was made to fell part of it from day one.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The people were the best thing about the placement. My manager (and other colleagues) were always really enthusiastic about helping me learn new skills.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was never a boring moment, I always had a continuous flow of work. There were some days where I felt a bit overloaded but the rest of the team would always step in and help out.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Once I got settled in and got to know some of the customers, I ended up been the first point of contact for their queries and would handle the enquiry myself.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My technical skills improved massively, which isn't surprising given the work I was doing but I was surprised at how much my personel and oral communication skills improved. The heavy work load prepared me well for my return to University.
