  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I've done about 5 placements now - this was by far the best!

  • everyone was very appreciative of your work and valued your opinion. Felt like part of the team rather than an intern

  • Manager was very busy but made sure I was happy and ok with work load/resoonsibiltity

  • Busy everyday, never bored!

  • A lot! Enough to challenge you!

  • Learnt a lot about the industry and general skills like project management which is useful wherever you go!

  • Everyone was chatty, sociable, fun! Lot of laughs

  • HR were good - theres a lot of interns so wasn't very personalised but still made the process easy

  • Overall company - not that much Division and brand I was working with - a lot!

  • Aim to get on the grad scheme - however extremely competitive!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Intern committee was started who arranged nights out/ networking events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Expensive - but London always is!

  • Hammersmith isn't the best - but so easy to get anywhere central!

  • Lots of sports teams, choir started up by the company! The work life balance is pretty good at L'Oreal
