The Role
Loved it. Really enjoyed the challenges I was set and loved seeing improvements in the waste levels when my ideas were implemented. Great job satisfaction.
On my first day I was treated like a new employee and for the remainder of the placement I was respected and treat like a company employee.
I was constantly monitored so I was always being given support and guidance when I required it.
Along with reducing waste I was also given little other tasks during the week so I was always busy which helped pass the time.
Lotsa responsibility. My individual ideas were even put into action!
Will help very much. I believe any experience is worth its weight in gold.
The Company
A lot of the time I was set individual task so there wasn't much chatter or such. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant though.
On the first day I was given a plan of my time there and it did follow that seamlessly.
Countless courses available! Presentation and public speaking is very useful and I would highly recommend it
Flexi Time
National Travel
Financial Bonus
I would have no hassles about working there again. I enjoyed it enormously. If they offer a job i will be taking it!
The Culture
I was on polite terms with a few people in my office but I didn't get close to anyone really which was a shame!
My parent's live a short bus ride away from Cheltenham so I lived at home which was cheap as chapstick!
I mainly went out in my hometown which is decent for nightlife and I've heard that Cheltenham is alright as well.
There are a lot of sports events to participate in if you're into that sort of thing.
