    • Small cohort (~25 students) and individual shadowing for a full two days - so high level of individual attention.

    • We did a session on pricing bonds and on options - handy revision for my finance module!

    • Two days of presentations and sessions followed by two full days of shadowing. The structure of the shadowing programme was down to the individuals you were with so could be varied..

    • Really friendly, relaxed and smiles all round

    • Everyone fast tracked to interview. Skill sessions and interview tips

    • Shadowed an analyst/associate for two full days - you get a decent idea....

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Put up in hotel within walking distance. Not luxury but did a fine job! A top company doesn't have to put you up in a 5* hotel to win you over!! Lesser ones do...

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • On the trading floor surrounded by employees.......

    • Nothing organised by HR for the spring programme... you have to be proactive (I went for lunch and dinner with MDs and associates)

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Thursday socials....5-a-side....drinks....CSR + volunteering opportunities within DB aplenty! It is banking though, so social life is limited!
