    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I enjoyed it very much. My first full experience in a large City law firm, and what fantastic offices in which to experience it! There was a huge amount of variety on offer throughout the week, which ensured the insight remained interesting and stimulating. The people attending/employees I met were great too!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • We were shown a lot of attention. Clifford Chance clearly invested a lot of time and money into the programme-we had great food, networking events, and presentations from very senior employees.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • We received as much support as necessary. Everyone was willing to help, answer questions and provide advice when needed.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I developed confidence, networking, negotiating and team-working skills. I also gained a strong insight into the workings of a magic circle law firm, and the flexibility of thought/researching skills etc required. This will help with my study as we regularly need these skills for presentations and team-based work, whilst also providing focus with regards to future module choices.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Everyone selected to take part in the insight was ambitious, friendly, good fun and intelligent. We had similar interests, motivations and ambitions concerning a career in law. This created an atmosphere conducive to productivity and we all made good friends. Graduate recruitment were very friendly, as were other CC employees which also contributed to the positivity.
