Insight Student Review

The Programme really did give me an insight into what it would be like working for a top property firm in London. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking to experience whether a career in property is the right path for them. Savills is an admirable company, the professionalism I witnessed throughout this week has been outstanding, its been inspirational and the employees really are top of their game.

I was warmly welcomed by all the staff and team members, quickly building rapport with them in a workplace and social settings (Babble bar in Mayfair)!

I recieved a good support and assistance from my team. My questions were answered openly and honestly enabling me to gain valuable work place experience and I was very pleased to recieve both positive and constructive feedback at the end of the week, from which I can learn from and build upon in order to develop further.

I have learnt a lot during the last week, which will stay with me throughout my career, which has been a lot more interesting than reading it from a textbook! It gave me the chance to apply theory in a working environment to find working solutions, such as writting reports, reaserch and communciating with staff and clients.

It was organised very professionally, both the itinery (recieved timely) and throughout the week so I knew exactly what events were on each day and the location of them i.e Grosvenor or Finsbury. The programme of activities was excellent and the balance just right.

It was a hard working environment, all employees were focused, adopting Savills work ethic, ethos, values and passion but also in a socially friendly professional manner.

All departmental key speakers gave up their time to share their experiences, knowledge and lessons learned. I recieved advice on how to perform effectively as well as end of week feedback which I will learn from and build upon.

Absolutely, I would love the opportunity to work for Savills.

I got a real sense of the culture, objectives and aspirations.

It reinforced I am doing the right degree and my desire to work for a top property firm such as Savills, where I can complete my APC and become an asset to Savills and the RICS.

Very enjoyable, I had the opportunity to meet some of the fee earners, directors, staff and clients throughout the week. It was a good mix of professional and social activities.

Yes there is a lot of opportunity both socially, sporting and various other activities.
