  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was really enjoyable, great activities, great people and overall very interesting and beneficial

    • We were not employed by the company, just visitors and so obviously I was not going to of felt that valued.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Everybody was extremely useful, always know where I was meant to be and what I was meant to be doing.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I gained an in depth knowledge of the financial sector, opening me up to all aspects of the bank and also of the financial markets.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • They were long days and were very packed but I guess it allowed you to experience what it would be like to work in the city.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • It was a fun atmosphere, with lots of interactive activities however it was also kept very professional and had some serious aspect to it too.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • We were given many talks through out the week were the business gave up there precious time to come and talk to us.

    • I was able to talk to many different people in all the different roles and asked then what it would be like to have a full time role in the company

    • We got to see all aspects of the company, not only the business side but also all the networks and out of work socializing.

    • It made me consider different careers that I had not considered before as I had a one track mind before. However now I am questioning my first preferences and am looking into other areas of the bank.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Everyday we were able to speak to people from the firm during lunch and at dinner.

    • Yes on the first day there were drinks which enabled us to network. Every lunch and dinner was also and opportunity for us to network.

    • Yes we were given talks all about the networks and charity work that they can get involved with.
