About You
I took part in a range of tasks and enjoyed the variety of the job.
I felt valued because I was doing work that was actually being used for projects, so i felt like i was really contributing and they took me seriously.
My mentor was fantastic in helping me settle into the office. She organised lots of networking events to enable me to meet the Savills team in different offices. My mentor assisted me with all my work and gave me guidance when I was unsure. I couldn't have asked for more support this week.
I have built up more confidence in networking and have learnt a lot about the property industry just in one week.
The Company
I cant fault the insight programme as it was really structured, i knew exactly what i was doing every day, and there was lots for me to do.
The team were all very friendly and welcoming and i felt confortable and happy working within the team.
I was able to experience different parts to the job, such as going on an inspection and office work. I was involved by everyone and felt like a valued member of the team.
I got a really good feel for what the job would be like just from observing my team and also from my experiences.
I really got a feel for the company values from observing the team at work. Everyone was enthusiastic and dedicated to their job.
I got a real insight into working in property and its confirmed that this is the industry i want a career in.
Everything Else
I had the option of reimbursing expenses
Plenty of networking events and opportunities were there for me.
The team were sociable and we had opportunity to spend time together outside of the office
I was told my employees about the activities that were available and extra curricular groups such as matrix which is an opportunity to get involved in sports and other activities which was good to know.
Overall, it was an invaluable experience and Savills packed a lot in for me in one week so i learnt a lot.
