  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Campus Ambassadors were grouped with younger work experience students

    • I didn't feel like I was contributing to anything particularly important but I did do some tasks which were useful to my colleagues

    • From my trainee this was brilliant, but no one else really offered much support

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Well structured for work experience students, but campus ambassadors were grouped with work experience students and, as a CA, I obviously knew the firm pretty well already, so was being fed information it had been my role all year to know intimately.

    • Generally a good place to work

    • I have a reasonably good idea of what working at Freshfields would be like

    • the socials were great - I'd have liked to have been shown more of the extra-curric stuff the comany do though!

    • Remain interested in commercial law and magic circle law firms

    • Yes this was done REALLY well

    • Yes lots of info on pro-bono, but would have liked to know more about 'extra-curricular' work

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • I'm sure I'd recommend working at Freshfields, and doing a vacation scheme, but they didn't get this one right - Campus Ambassadors shouldn't be treated like Year 12 work experience students.
