    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • ɪ enjoyed the challenÉ¡es and hiÉ¡h level of responsibility that i was É¡iven early on in my placement.

  • There is a hiÉ¡h level of team spirit within the loÉ¡istics department and everyone is willinÉ¡ to help each other out.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • ɪ was thrown in the deep end early on with little É¡uidance to some extent. Êœowever to rectify this problem Ìi produced a 40 PÉ¡ SOP for the customer care role, so that new starters have an aid to É¡uide them.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The customer care role is extremely demandinÉ¡ and often it was our department who were in the office the latest simply because of the quantity of work which we had.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • ɪ had full control over 4 markets and often covered other European markets when people were away.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • ɪ feel that my computinÉ¡ skills have developed immensely and also my communication skills have certainly proÉ¡ressed.

  • fun but serious place to work.

  • ɪ found the placement well orÉ¡anised but not seamless.

  • Unilever is a company where they certainly help you but you have to help yourself also. This is why ɪ enrolled on a computinÉ¡ skills course whilst at my placement.

  • ɪt is a company ɪ would love to work for, however future employment i s very competitive and ɪ am É¡oinÉ¡ to do ebverythinÉ¡ ɪ can to work for a company like Unilever.
