  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very insightful but also enjoyable due to the interactive nature

    • We were only there for a day but were treated with a lot of respect, as potential future colleagues

    • A lot of guidance was given regarding the next steps in the recruitment process and how to give yourself the best chance of being successful

    • As we were only there for one day the skills taught were limited, but what we did learn about negotiating and other typical legal skills, will be extremely helpful in the future

    • Extremely well structured - we over ran at some points but that was only a good thing because the level of interaction and engagement was so high!

    • Everyone taking part was passionate and excited to be there

    • It was great to have so much time and effort invested in us without having even started the recruitment process

    • Being there for one day made it difficult to understand a real 'day in the life' because we didn't have time to shadow people or spend time in departments

    • We had networking drinks after the Open Day for a more informal discussion and we also had lunch with the trainees.

    • Definitely, it is a great way to both gain more information bout the firm and get yourself introduced to the right people so they know who you are!
