About You
Brilliant atmosphere and incredibly friendly people. I look forward to applying for next summer!
First time the Insight was organised so everyone seemed very forthcoming and excited to have us there.
Support was available when needed. Good information pack was provided at the start though so very little was required.
A lot of good skills particularly with regards to applying for the summer internship. Some more general skills as well.
The Company
Packed with activities, seminars and workshops! Not any time to hang around and wonder what to do.
Relaxed but 'hungry' people. Rothschild did a brilliant job at recruiting the students!
A lot. Was able to shadow very senior people which wouldn't have been possible at most other places.
Somewhat. You'll never really know what it's like before you do it though!
Much more than I anticipated.
I already knew this is what I want to do so there was very little added value with regards to career choice for me.
Everything Else
Lived nearby so no need for this.
The packed schedule had some set networking sessions, but it was also possible to do this while shadowing or at lunch.
As far as networking goes they were good. I find that that can be a bit awkward from time to time wherever you are.
Yes. Gym and Football.
If they want to get to know more about the culture then definitely. If not sure about the industry it might not be for them.
