The Role
Extremely interesting, very high level, very stimulating. Would definitely recommend it.
Worked in the cabinet of an AG that was very welcoming. I felt my external point of view was useful and valued.
Extremely good support from cabinet members, although training as a whole at the Court for interns could be improved.
I had to research specific points of law that could end up being included in an Opinion, which is at the same time gratifying and a great responsibility.
Very useful skills and fairly transferable - research, drafting, team work. I would however rather say that it was my studies which helped me with this placement.
The Company
Highly professional and highly supportive.
Seamless organisation.
The fact that the placement lasted several months brought the cabinet members to introduce to internal tools, databases and helped me get the most out of the placement.
Extremely difficult to get in a job in a the cabinet or chamber of a Court's member. More opportunities at the Court in general, but still is competitive to succeed.
The Culture
Very good relations with other interns and ambiance as a whole.
Good activities with other interns outside work.
