  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work from the investment bank perspective was accurate and covered everything I expected, i personally did not enjoy all aspects of both my rotation though

  • People were friendly and helpful. But I wouldn't go so far as to say they were family.

  • This was the best part of the internship

  • A good balance. I liked the first rotation more than the 2nd. The second rotation had days where it was difficult.

  • Not as much responsibility as I would have liked

  • An excellent peek into the world of investment banking. The best place to work for i guess.

  • People were upbeat and jovial

  • The internships process is extremely smooth right from day 1 to the last day

  • I dont think i could have expected more. they delivered on all the check boxes.

  • Got good reviews and feedback from both rotations.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. The 4 of us who interned together had a good time in london

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is an expensive place but the internship stipend covered it all.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • On 5 of the 8 weekends we were in london and could experience the nightlife here :)

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • London provided most of these opportunities plus we had the company sports teams that we could work and play with. I particularly remember practicing with the DB cricket team in Lords
