    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Was often quite hard to play an active role in client-work due to lack of experience but everyone was more than friendly in taking the time out to explain the processes involved in Valuations.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Fortunate to have an extremely great personal mentor who was always there to answer a few questions when I needed, subject to availability as she was quite busy as well.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Given client work to do as well as the compliance work which always needed attention. Was given an intern project to work on in teams as well as having the opportunity to work in different branches of PwC and shadow a director.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Assisted in actual client-work and formulated spreadsheets to be used by the company in later cases of debt valuation required by clients. Unfortunately had no direct exposure to clients.

  • 4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Often quite quiet - not as busy as in the London offices but all staff members were friendly and made themselves available if required

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Would have liked it to be more structured in terms of the client work/exposure I was given or the size of the team in which I worked

  • 5/5
