The Role
Great people, thoroughly enjoyed.
Work needed to be rechecked which you could tell was an inconvenience but most more than happy to give you work and valued you completing it even if they had to double check it.
Sometimes left on your own to figure things out but everyone was very approachable if you had any questions.
Some days quite free, others very busy! Always had online training to be getting on with if work was slow though.
Given worthwhile tasks but everything was double checked prior to work being locked.
I do an accounting degree so it has helped a lot.
The Company
Office was full of young people making work much more bearable and creating a great atmosphere to work in. Along with some slightly long lunches on a Friday!
Being such a jlarge firm the internship was very well organised with a week of formal training (3 days at an away site) and constant feedback and superiors to approach if there are any problems.
The first weeks training was probably the most investment the firm makes in you. After that you are thrown into work where your main pull on their resources is that you take up a bit of everyone's time.
National Travel
I enjoyed it so much I had no reservations in accepting and off on the grad scheme.
The Culture
Like I say everyone is the same age so great social scene.
Uxbridge - west London. Expensive compared to regional offices but a lot cheaper than working in central. That said most of your time is spent at client sites which could be anywhere in the country.
Average at best, few bars one rubbish club. Quite a few restaurants though.
Surprisingly not many except for drinks events held quite often.
