The Role
The work was varied and interesting. The social experience, which in my opinion is just as important was second to none.
Extremely. Employees of all levels in the business took time to seek me out and ask how I was getting along and if I had any queries or questions for them
I had a weekly meeting with my line manager to make sure everything was going ok. I also had support in all aspects of the work I was doing and was encouraged to ask as many questions as possible.
There were times when the work was slower but overall I was kept busy.
I was given the same responsibility as if I was a graduate employee working there. I also had to liason with clients and carry out tasks vital to the projects I was continually working on.
It helped me gain a great understanding of what a graduate job would be like. I was able to learn general skills and improve my communication with clients and colleagues at any level in the business
The Company
There was always something going on.
As you would expect with PwC, they had a well thought out and planned programmed that ranged from an induction conference in London to working on a variety of clients
They took the time to value me and personally, I felt they got across the image that I was the future of the company. Even on a six week internship they sent me to London so I was able to meet with all interns nationwide and discuss application process, apprehensions, etc. They also sent me out to client sites for extended periods of time. I was also able to go to USA and work on a client over there.

The company ran social events from a weekly 5-a-side football that I got involved in, to a quiz night, darts tournament, badminton, etc
