  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable range of experience, not just in IT risk assurance but other lines of service too!

  • You really are a PwC employee for 6 weeks and you get treated like it.

  • Everyone is willing to give you guidance and help whenever needed.

  • Some days were quite in my department so I was given work in other departments to do which was a really good thing because I got a broad experience of PwC.

  • I was doing real work for real clients with deadlines and by the time I had visited my second client, I was given as much responsibility and my more experienced colleague.

  • I have improved all skills needed for a career in business and finance.

  • I got a job offer and subsequently decided I would like to move office so had another interview in that office and got the job there. The internship gives you a big advantage as you have a lot to talk about!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was however, in my office there were only 3 of us on this intake. It would have been better if they had included us in the earlier, larger intake.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived here already so could stay at home.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It's good in Bristol however I didn't really use it during my internship.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I wend on a social with all the young trainee accountants in Bristol and also was invited to team meals out.
