    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was really nice. I would bump into someone making a coffee in the kitchen and they would stop and have a chat with me, checking I was getting on well. I was invited out to tag along to peoples nights out too

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager would explain everything to me really well, then team members would happily help me out if I was stuck on anything. You are not left stranded on your own on anything

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Alot of the work I was doing was non urgent projects, so it was a case of I'd just plod along with things at my own pace. I was trying to impress, but it wasn't like my manager ever really set deadlines I'd just go over when I got all the work done

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was running and create a lot of spreadsheets, to provide data and analysis to other team members, so it felt like I was an important part of the team :)

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Alot of the work I was doing was similar to university courseworks, but it was a really good experience working somewhere, at a desk with a telephone and being in a proper office -- this will aid me to hit the ground running when I'm doing an internship

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was really friendly and seemed to get on. It was alot like sixth form with lots of couples in the office and quite a bit of gossipping!

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Really structured, everyone had left their sort of basic projects for the month before I came in, so I had lots of work to do, but it wasn't too indepth that I was able to do it all

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Really well, there was quite a bit of training and my manager and coworkers would sit down and explain everything to me frequently so I was learning what the work I was doing went into the team's work and goals

    4/5
