    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • This has been my second Summer Placement at BAE Systems and I have yet again really enjoyed it. My work colleagues have been excellent and I feel I have been supported throughout my time here.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Everyone who I have worked with from my time keeper to my colleagues in my office have been great to work with. If I ever had a problem I knew I could always speak to someone about it and it would be resolved as soon as possible.

    • They have been 100% supportive.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • As I was given a task at the beginning of the summer I have been busy during all my working days. My time at the company has gone really fast.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • Due to the task given to me I had alot of responsibility, (although I was watched over by my team leader for support) I had to make many of the decisions on my own.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • This has given me the knowledge of what happens in industry and this will certainly help with my studies.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The team I have worked with have been excellent. There is always a good vibe from the workers.

    • The organisation has been really good. They have been very supportive.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • They have trusted me with a project and this kind of experience from my point of view is priceless. They have given me the opportunity to have experience that other's in my positions at University haven’t.
