  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • it was a great experience which helped me get a solid grounding in the principles governing the sector

    • My collegues were true market experts. they valued my contributions but these could never have matched their level of expertise in their respective fields

    • my supervisor was very supportive, teaching me first hand and having weekly follow up meetings, but also encouraged me to work independently

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • i was undertaking research, so not the most stressful environment, however this culminated in a presentation aimed at an expert audience, so I had to cover lots of material.

    • i was free to undertake my project as i felt fit. However, i had no other responsibilities.

    • i have already secured a temporary position, with a view of making it permanent

    • the atmosphere was very professional

    • internship activities and deadlines wre clear and included various interesting courses.

    • No formal training was offered, but I gained a good overview of the company's business activities

    • All three interns, including myself, which had already completed their studies managed to secure a job after the internship

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • No arguments. Lots of lunches and after work drinks.

    • Central London prices.

    • Plenty of pubs, bars clubs aroun Victoria station- st. Jame's park

    • Depended on the department you worked for, activities were organized.
