  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • the wide range of projects available to me was very good.

  • I was treated as a regular full time employee from the start which made fitting in very easy.

  • Lots of support/guidance was provided when needed. If I had any queries, I could just drop into their office.

  • overall I was kept very busy, but the work wasn't boring.

  • I was given responsibility with my own projects, and helped out on others

  • The understanding of various power supply topologies has helped me a lot in other areas of my course.

  • It was a very relaxing atmosphere.

  • The work was well organised with a clear plan put in place from the start.

  • I think they invested in me a lot with a number of training courses.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social scene was good amongst the other colleagues as we were all similar ages

  • Cost of living was very high as I was based in Norway.

  • Nightlife in Asker wasn't great, but if you travelled into Oslo it was good.
