The Role
I enjoyed certain parts of my placement such as working with other graduates but I found the general day to day work not very enjoyable.
I felt valued by the other graduates and the shopfloor staff but I didn't feel valued by all of my managers
Certain managers were very good and had regular meetings with me to support me but others didn't see this as a priority
When i was given guidance on what i should be doing i was busier but at first i felt bored as i wasn't shown what was expected of me.
Definitely given a lot of responsibility
I learnt a lot and will hopefully use these in my future career
The Company
Pressurised and quite competitive.
I enjoyed the training courses and spending time doing small store attachments.
A lot of money was invested in training courses
Healthcare/Dental
Retail is not something I want to go into now.
The Culture
Between other graduates there was a good social scene
I worked in several places so it varied
Not great, had to travel elsewhere for this
Not really
