  • It was not very enjoyable.

  • I don't think that they even knew my name by the end of my placement.

  • The support given was very good, they looked after me well.

  • I was seeing a lot of patients every day, so I was very busy.

  • As a Physician Assistant, I was given a lot of responsibility.

  • Essential skills like communication were developed.

  • Everyone was very busy with their work, so it was neither dull nor fun.

  • The nature of the job meant that sometimes it was not very well organised.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • At the end of peoples' shifts, they were so exhausted that no one felt like doing anything.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Fairly cheap, the rent was cheap, the food and transport costs were cheap also.

  • I wouldn't know!
