    The Role

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager continually provided me with feedback so that I could develop myself. He was also very easy to approach and was always happy to help me should if I ever needed it.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work did have an irregular flow, where it would be too busy on some days and then very quiet on others. However, my colleagues were easy to work with, happy to help and also happy to give me work to smooth the work flow out.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The role did give me a lot of responsibility. For example, I produced reports which went to some company directors, and even, overseas to Germany. Mistakes that I made had a real consequence to prove that the role did carry a lot of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I received some excellent training such as Presentation Skills, which will always be useful. I also used software such as Excel and SQL which are programmes used in most companies and will always be a useful skill-set to have. Furthermore, I developed my team-working and communication skills which will always be essential.
