  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Work was often tedious. I was asked to do things that I wasn't expecting to (ie reporting work as part of a marketing placement).

    • Some people valued my contributions, while others treated me like a dogsbody.

    • Manager was inefficient.

    • Kept reasonably busy but work was not challenging.

    • Given some projects to look after, but these weren't high-profile or particularly important, or ones that my manager was interested in.

    • Learnt valuable lessons about being in the workplace, but no 'actual' skills.

    • Team overall was nice and fun to work with.

    • HR side was well organised, but the team itself could behave chaotically.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Fellow students socialised a lot but I lived at home instead of with them. We all ate lunch together though.

    • As above, I lived at home so unable to give an accurate assessment.

    • Vibrant, but not my scene.
