  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great environment to work in, everyone was very friendly and a great social side aswell.

  • Everyone in my team was lovely, always willing to help and very supportive. They were very appreciative of my hard work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The intern scheme was brilliant with regular intern mornings where we worked on skills or listened to talks from people who worked in different depatments. My manager was very supportive with regular review meetings where we could sit down and discuss how my progress was going.

  • Very Busy! Always had lots to do, never a moment to be bored!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A lot of responsibility from day one. Every day was packed with things that needed doing with tight deadlines.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The experience has been amazing at providing me with the skills I need for my career after I complete final year and also in my dissertation. It's great to get a taste for the industry before I start my first job after graduating.

  • Such a great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and helpful, making work enjoyable.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very organised and a lot of effort put into it. Regular intern mornings took place throughout the year. All the interns got on really well which was great.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There were presentations and training days throughout my year. For example a training session on ethical trading which was really interesting and the training on the systems.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I think they are pretty good. Most interns from the previous year have got jobs back there. They also keep in contact you with upcoming opportunities.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Amazing! The intern mornings meant we were all able to meet and get to know each other. There were summer and christmas socials which were great and where everyone who worked there could come together.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Expensive!London is though compared to anywhere else in the UK so its what I expected.

  • Really good, quite central location.
