The Role
Loved the year, a great experience of working in the industry and actually doing the role as you would if you were a real employee.
The team were very welcoming and it was a sad experience to have to leave!
It was easy to discuss personal development/any issues with management and supervisors as you felt like a valued part of the team.
Very busy due to not having an assistant buyer in the team however it enabled me to gain a lot more experience and skills that I otherwise would not have so it was great.
As above - a lot of responsibility was given as often I would be the only memeber of the team in the office however this was a valuable and fantastic experience.
I really value the year and know it will help me in the future.
The Company
Menswear was a fantastic place to work, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and sense of family.
No problems/issues at all.
During the placement they spent a lot of time helping us with group development mornings, however I think it would be great if ASOS had a graduate scheme to enable you to secure jobs for when your studies are complete to make sure you come back.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
I felt valued and hopefully want to go back however it would be great if ASOS were able to give you contracts to secure a job with them on graduation as I have noticed from other placements.
The Culture
London is generally expensive however it was fine on the salary we were given.
ASOS netball team was a lot of fun
