    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Was not given as much guidance and help as i felt i needed, and was left a bit of a spectator at times. Despite this, the placement provider was very welcoming, and gave me some great tips. Would recommend, an easy placement to get on to if you are part of the uni.

    • Although my only colleague was the placement provider, I felt more like a friend than a colleague.

    • This was definitely the downfall to the placement

    • Fairly bored, felt more like an assistant than a coach on placement.

    • I had opportunity to lead sessions, and did so with effective feedback. Although this opportunity didn't arise as often as i would have liked.

    • The skills i did learn were very very helpful in allowing me to progress as a coach.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • As good as in any football team, good banter, though the sessions were still taken seriously.

    • As organised as I could make it...

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • With almost everyone

    • Within the university, very cheap!

    • At the university, probably below average when compared to others.
