  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It's a good job, but it's challenging!

  • All the IP students get on great!

  • I was given a lot of start-up help, and help is there when I need it but I've been left to get on with what I'm doing independantly.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Working the way GSK does has its benefits. If something's getting too much, take a break, have a walk, get a drink! The hours were quite flexible so you can fit in when you want to do it.

  • As mentioned before, my initial project was completely my own!

  • Other students were great and kept the place alive!

  • They have a lot of students so they know what they're doing.

  • I've been on multiple training courses already, and more booked in for the future.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • It's good, and it's competitive to get a place, but for a personal choice I think I'd like to try a company within the IT sector.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Not just your own site we're we did a lot, but all sites had meetups too for nights out and paintballing etc!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Living in Brentford/Chiswick was expensive and took the majority of my monthly paycheck.

  • Just jump on the tube to central london!
