  • Everyday was a new challenge and something to look forward to.

  • All my colleagues were welcoming and made me feel a part of the team

  • Support and guidance was always available

  • With workload and intern projects running there was always something to do.

  • I found myself doing the same work as some of my colleagues which gives a sense of self worth

  • There was a balance of work and play

  • Some things took a while to get, such as login information for company sites... Overall all was good

  • The academy scheme means there is a lot of investment going on, which is great

  • Subsidised Canteen

  • Being on the academy scheme puts me in a great position to get a job, but everything has to be worked for.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Coming from sixth form/colleges we all started on the same wavelength which was a good thing.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • As expected in the city things are abit more expensive, so a balance is needed as well as money management.

  • With bars around, nightlife can be good with the right crowd

  • There were a bit difficult to find
