  • IBD is an interesting job

  • No one trusts you Very few care about you Other than a handful of friends you may make - no one will bother asking how you are

  • Only one supervisor out of three gave good guidance and clear instruction

  • Busy pretty much every day including weekends - except for the last week.

  • Very little repsonsibility given

  • The skills gained have been invaluable to me and will remain with me forever. Very little correlation between degree subject (Mathematics) and internship in IBD

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • A hardworking atmosphere with a touch of competitiveness. A poor environment with regards to treatment of juniors - often sworn at and shouted at.

  • Average managment. Often found miscommunications and did not set up talks which were promised.

  • Good training was provided however more technical training was required
