  • Exceeded expectations

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone kept stressing how they saw us as the "future" of the firm so to speak, but I didn't feel particularly differentiated from the others on the scheme.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Hit or miss - depending on who you worked with and if they had the time to spend with you.

    3/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days were busy enough to need me to stay till well after 9, others were dull as anything. But such was the nature of the department it seemed.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I don't they could give us much given the short scheme.

    3/5

  • Learned more here than at school!

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It would have been nice if they considered letting us bring along partners, or even better if they gave us permission to skip one or two so as to carry on with the rest of our lives.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Fantastic work by the recruitment team there.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Although one will really know only if one becomes a trainee!

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Company Parties/Events

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I like to be optimistic.... if I'm offered a contract, I'd take it in a heartbeat and it sounded like almost all of us would as well. The only ones who wouldn't aren't saying no due to the firm, but to the legal profession as a whole.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, ameliorated by formal programming.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Very pricey! Central London. Most people ate at the subsidized canteen.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • City--- none!

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • One had to be proactive I think. If you looked for it, they were there.

    3/5
