  • Thoroughly enjoyed my placement- the work is very interesting, atmosphere challenging/motivating yet welcoming/friendly- strong sense teamwork throughout the bank

  • All HSBC employees are welcoming and helpful- all strive to really make you feel part of the team from day one.

  • Given the same responsibilities as a full time analyst- obtain a very realistic impression of the job.

  • Soft skills developed and improved over the 10 weeks which are integral to succeeding in banking are generally not assessed in degree programmes but are very imporatant for later life!
