The Role
The job was extremely taxing, working long hours on a regular basis.
Felt extremely valued by lower management levels, but less valued by upper management.
Always available to offer help and support when needed
Never bored, always extremely busy, often end up staying past the hours meant to be worked.
Was given responsibility for seasonal events, eg Christmas Food ordering and Father's Day shop. Also managed a sub-brand
Learnt valuable skills, mainly learnt more about myself as a person, rather than actual skills.
The Company
Everyone generally enjoyed being at work, and had fun with others.
Extremely well organised, except some hiccups at the beginning over location
Regularly went on courses and was given workbooks, we were also given time during the day to work on them.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Am in the process of getting a future job with them
The Culture
Made friends with other graduate students
Worked in North London, average prices there, but expensive to go out in Central London
Average nightlife in North London, excellent in Central London, just 30mins on the tube
Not a lot of time or energy left after the end of the working day.
